Getting to know Ragum and its functions – Ragum is a very useful tool in the world of engineering.
The vise is usually used to grip the workpiece to be
done or processed. Without a vise, an operator will find it difficult to
do bench work. Usually vise is used in doing bench work such as cutting, filing and so forth. On this occasion, I will discuss "Getting to Know Death and Its Functions".

Main Section in Ragum

Jaw or Ragum Mouth

The vise is a part that is in direct contact with
Work Unit. The vise of the jaw also serves to hold the workpiece in order
not shifted. In this section consists of two jaws, the jaw of motion
the distance can be adjusted and the jaws are fixed.

Slide is part vise that can go out or enter
into the vise body. This part can
the jaw to move regulates how far it is capable
reached by vise.

Handle is the part that functions to regulate the entry and exit of the thread, so you can adjust how strong
vise can clamp the workpiece.

Screw On Ragum

The screw is the part that helps the slide to go in and out of the body. Threaded on the screw
role to do the transport shaft. This section is important to support
the grip strength of the vise.

Body on Ragum

In the vise body part. This body does not
move. And all parts of vise are bound to the body.

Alas On Ragum

The very bottom of the vise
serves as a binder with a work desk.

In vise divided into 4 groups.
Namely vise for metalworking, vise for woodworking, hand vise,
and engine vise. Let's discuss what are the differences and functions of each

Ragum Types

Metal Working Sheet (Metal Vices)

The vise used to clamp metal workpieces usually uses (metalworking vices). The grip strength of this vise is very strong. So
makes it easy for operators to process workpieces. In general, this vise is used in bench work processes such as cutting, drilling, filing, rolling (by tap or seney). This vise can also be used for
clamping wooden or plastic workpieces. However, the grip must be more careful compared to
workmanship using metal. If gripped too hard, the surface of the workpiece
will be damaged even the shape can change.

For laying it usually this vise is always tied at the top of the table and has been designed
specifically for strong grip. The jaws of this vise are made of steel
hardened and roughened surface. It is intended that the grip is stronger and the workpiece is not

Ragum Woodworking (Woodworking Vices)

This type of vise is used for wood-based workpieces.
The difference with the metalworking vices can be seen in
installation vise on the work table. This vise is always tied at the bottom of the table and generally tied
permanently. The jaw surface of this vise is softer and even compared to that of metal. So it does not damage even imprint on the workpiece

Hand Held Vices

Hand visum may be familiar to hear. This type of vise can be taken anywhere
because it doesn't need to be tied to any object and its size is small. Enough
just hold it with your hands
can work bench work in various positions. This vise functions almost the same as pliers. But strength
its grip was stronger than that of ordinary pliers. In general this vise is used by anglers who want to bend the eye
the fishing line.

Machine Vices

Machine vise is usually used to clamp the workpiece on the machine. Machine
which uses vise of this type include drilling machines and milling machines. This vise is used to facilitate users in the drilling process,
pengefraisan, and others. This kind of vise is really needed because it can be processed on a very machine
dangerous for operators and
using this vise is much safer to use.

Ordinary Machine Image

Common machine vise is an ordinary vise
the position is tied to the machine table. Installation of vise types
must be calculated correctly in order to be installed straight
on the machine table, so that the workpiece that is processed does not experience irregularities.

Swivel machine (swivel machine vices)

Rotate Fiddle That is a vise whose jaw can be rotated in accordance with
needs. There are three kinds of vise, namely:

play 1 axis, Ragum which can be rotated 360 °
horizontally. Thus allowing operators to use various angles.
play 2 axis, which is vise that can be played
360 ° horizontally and can also make angles vertically up to 90 °
This allows the operator to use various angles horizontally and
play 3 axis, which is vise
can be played on 3 axis. 360 ° horizontally, 90 ° vertically is good
transversely or longitudinally. This vise is the most flexible vise
compared to the previous vise.
